Starr’s Grist Mill<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fayetteville, Georgia<\/p>\n

Starr’s Mill was used as one of the sites used in\u00a0the movie “Fried Green Tomatoes”. Built in 1825 along the Whitewater Creek about 25 miles south of Atlanta with nearby towns of Senoia and Starr\u2019s Mill. It was one of several mills I painted throughout my years on the road, exhibiting at Art Shows and Festivals.\u00a0 The painting is part of the sets of 4 , related to the movie \u201cFried Green Tomatoes\u201d and Grist Mills.<\/p>\n

Grist Mills have always had a special interest to me, they are fascinating, and brilliant planning for the water to do the hard work!\u00a0 Here are some grist mills around the Country that I have painted,<\/p>\n
