Cassopolis, Michigan<\/span><\/p>\n

I have painted several fire related paintings, which make up my fireman set.\u00a0 In choosing a fire station, my first choice was\u00a0my most familiar. I grew up in Cassopolis, Michigan\u00a0until was 10 years old.\u00a0 Living in an upstairs apartment less than one block from the volunteer fire department, I became familiar to the sound of the siren that alerts everyone when they are needed.\u00a0 It was not much of a fancy fire station, but it was ours.\u00a0 As a young boy, I was always\u00a0fascinated by the water tower that sat behind the station. This painting was one of my early paintings, so you can see the difference in my artistic\u00a0talents from then.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the\u00a0Fireman’s set, it became a big seller all over the country.\u00a0 Other paintings included: The Fire Dog<\/a>;\u00a0 \u00a0Fire Truck<\/a>;\u00a0 \u00a0Miami fire station<\/a> and the Fire Hose Reel<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
