Hemmingsen’s Rexall Drugs<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Marshall, Michigan<\/p>\r\n

As I\u00a0traveled through the historic town of Marshall, I noticed a Rexall Drug Store that looked like it probably did many decades ago.\u00a0 It was Sunday and they were closed, so I could not see the inside.\u00a0 I took photos of the outside of the store. Eventually I took out my photos and started painting on the 30″ x 36″\u00a0stretched canvas.\u00a0 Since I had not seen the inside, I painted the inside as I would imagine it to look like many years ago.<\/p>\r\n

I later found that the store was established\u00a0and\u00a0locally owned since\u00a01936.\u00a0\u00a0It is still a pharmacy and also offers local delivery.\u00a0 You can also have your film digitally processed with their Kodak equipment, as well as purchasing greeting cards, gifts, jewelry and candles among other items in their quaint little store, located on the main street of town.\u00a0 You can see it at 132 W. Michigan Street in Marshall, MI.<\/p>\r\n
