Thrasher Bros. Warehouse<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Micanopy, Florida<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Micanopy is just south of Gainesville, Florida, just\u00a0east of\u00a0the I-75 exit. was founded in 1821.\u00a0 Most of the buildings in the town are on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983.\u00a0 There are antiques and places to shop in the oldest Florida inland settlement, which is located about 25 minutes south of Gainesville, Florida.\u00a0 The town has been nicknamed “The little town that time forgot.”<\/p>\r\n

The town has been used for several Hollywood movies, such as “Doc Hollywood” with Michael J. Fox and “Cross Creek” with Mary Steenburgen.<\/p>\r\n

The town had numerous\u00a0possibilities for nostalgic paintings.\u00a0 Thrasher Brothers warehouse was an obvious favorite, with the Coca-Cola sign painted on the side of the building.\u00a0 The warehouse is also the home for the Micanopy Historical Society.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
