Jackson Drink Stand<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

LaGrange, Georgia<\/p>\r\n

I exhibited at several art festivals in LaGrange, Georgia in the mid 1980’s.\u00a0 After every show, I drove around and take pictures of interesting places in the area, so I could paint one or more for the next years showing.\u00a0 LaGrange, was no exception.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

As I was driving around town, I had reached an area that was about to change from the nostalgic look to the normal look of the town, so I pulled into a parking lot to turn around, when I saw this old house, with a couch on the front porch.\u00a0 I guess that was their version of a porch swing, without the swing.\u00a0 I took a few pictures of it, then as I turned around, there it was, “Jackson Drink Stand”.\u00a0 Was this alley, the road at one time?\u00a0 I don’t know, but it was a store, that had once been used, but has since closed.\u00a0 You never know what you find in out of the way places.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
